Anthony #78-83

A few quick sketches from the train (including biggest hair ever) and some roughs for some larger artwork ideas.

Anthony #71-77

A bunch of life-drawing sketches. Mixture of quick warm-ups (1-2 min sketches) and quick 5 min drawings.

Anthony #70

Another in the ‘three-faced-head theme’

The man in the scarf is also in the group sketch - you'd never know by looking.

I can’t help thinking the man in glasses looks like a frog. Seems to be a theme on this blog :-) He certainly wasn't a happy camper but then, it was a very crowded train.

Anthony #43-44

Two different takes on the same subject. I didn’t think the first drawing really did justice to the hair, frills and multiple items of jewelry.

Anthony #37-42

A whole other bunch of people from the train

Anthony #36

Last page in my little old sketchbook.

Anthony #35 (more self-obsession)

Anthony #32-34

Three more from the same train ride. The great thing about this exercise is that by drawing so much, so quickly, it’s a lot easier to experiment.

Anthony #28-31

Four quick sketches from my morning train ride. It’s getting colder here in Sydney and suddenly everyone’s wrapped up in scarves, heavy woolens and the like. By ‘colder’, I mean – about 15 decrees C in the mornings, rising to the early twenties throughout the afternoon. Not exactly Arctic but you’d never know that from these drawings.

Three from a foodcourt - drawing people while they're eating is harder than I thought. They move a lot more than one would expect.

The other is a doodle from my sketchbook. Lots of hands, one face.

2 more from the train. I'm way behind here...really going to have to lift the game a bit.
