Trying out the Sharpie Retractable pen. The barrel's kind of wide and it's hard to get used to, but I think I like it. Not a replacement for the beloved but imperfect Pilot V5, will still search for more options...

I was rooting around in my big box of random art supplies and I found a Cross fountain pen and some fancy French crayons. It's kind of fun to draw with the fountain pen but it's really fussy. The ink stops flowing mid-line, and now I know why it was sitting unused... I'm putting it back in the box. The fancy French crayons are not all that interesting, unless you read the blub on the container. They're "durable" "unbreakable" "perfect for small children"... dude, they're just crayons!
